The OEM style screw type mounting makes installation simple and secure. The traditional knobs offer excellent comfort for both side and overhand grips. The counter-weighted shift knobs are engineered to be twice as heavy for a even better feel for hard shifts. While the super light knobs are a must for when weight and extreme climites are a concern.
This is a threaded body shift knob so it will work work with the factory shifter or factory style threaded shifter. This heavier shift knob is better suited for cars that have a lighter shifter and needs a light bit more weight to allow for smoother shifting. The thread pitch of the shift knob is M10 and pitch of 1.25. I know for a fact it fits great on the new Mitsubishi EVO VIII, Eclipse 00-03 (Megan Racing short shifter) and Nissan 240SX.
